Hello,

I'm trying to use the anchor tag referencing another paragraph on another html page. When I use it inside a <DIV> tag, the web page does nothing. When I take out the DIV tag, it finds the web page but does not go to the &quot;alarm&quot; paragraph like it should. This works in IE but not in NS4. Any ideas? Thanks ahead for your help.

<a href=&quot;bb_faq.htm#alarm&quot;>Alarm</a>

NS 4 doesn't support &quot;Div&quot; layers. I had a problem relating to that a few weeks ago that I fixed by adding <layer> tags inside the <div> tags.

jasek78,

Thanks. However when there are no div or layer tags, it still doesn't find the correct paragraph in the target html page.
Any ideas?

It is very simple:

in bb_faq.htm place this where you want the user to go:

<a name=&quot;alarm&quot;></a>
t e x t g o e s h e r e

so your link <a href=&quot;bb_faq.htm#alarm&quot;>Alarm</a> will reference the t e x t ... paragraph.

No need in any div's or anything else. Works everywhere, because this is a right way to do this.

good luck
