Anchor tag added on copy

Hello,

I'm very new to Dreamweaver and I'm having a small problem with duplicating my master page (default.html) I've laid out defualt.html the way I want all the other pages to look, but every time I duplicate it adds an additional </a> tag into one of the table fields in the default.htm page. Which causes the page to display differently. What's causing that to happen? It's quite annoying, not to mention time consuming having to come back and recorret the table.

not sure but why not look towards creating your own template version of the page...
