Can someone make sense of this for me? This does not look right. I have inherited a Sparc 5.8 V100 server and am looking at the space available. The 'df' command gives me this:

Code:
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/dsk/c0t2d0s0 241599 106358 111082 49% /
/dev/dsk/c0t2d0s6 4130982 2350487 1739186 58% /usr
/dev/dsk/c0t2d0s5 4130982 49713 4039960 2% /var
swap 2235968 16 2235952 1% /var/run
/dev/dsk/c0t2d0s4 2055463 135593 1858207 7% /opt
swap 2235976 24 2235952 1% /tmp
/dev/dsk/c0t2d0s7 25826376 303979 25264134 2% /export/spare

It's the fact that /tmp and /var/run have swap filesystems that is throwing me off. Can this possibly be correct or has someone bungled this majorly?

Thanks.

Your readings are correct... Starting with Solaris 8, tmpfs (swap) has instances in /tmp and /var/tmp
