Can anyone please recommend Network analyzing software.

I would like to capture packets as well as well as Network Bandwidth usage which is very important.

As usual the company leaves buying this kind of software until the network is on it's knees...:) Thanks

You need a basic sniffer to capture packets. There are all kinds of free ones on the internet or you can buy them. If you want a good software suite of network management and utiliztion tools then I'd suggest you check out Solarwinds Engineering edition. You can find it here:

For monitoring Network Bandwidth, check out MRTG ( It's free and runs on both Linux and Windows.

Try it, you'll like it.
