Analyze with Excel/Work report function

The standard report toolbar has 'Analyze with Excel/Word' button that sends the report to the Excel or Word.

Can I control the location where the file is being sent?
And one more question, on the report I have a check box, but when I send it to excel using that report button, that field with the check box does not show up

Please advise

You need to create a function and then call that from a toolbar button. The function needs to be something like:

Function fctnRptExport()
On Error GoTo fctnRptExport_Err

    DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputReport, Screen.ActiveReport.Name

fctnRptExport_Exit:
    Exit Function

fctnRptExport_Err:
    MsgBox Err.Number & ": " & Err.DESCRIPTION, vbExclamation
    Resume fctnRptExport_Exit

End Function

How would I call from a toolbar?
