Good morning

I am trying to Analyze some Resource Usage data in Excel using the "Analyze timescaled data in excel' functionality.

The problem that I am having is that the numbers in Excel do not seem to match the numbers in Project. This is only happening with Material Resources, not Work Resources.

For example, if I have a resource with 50 units allocation in October, then in Excel it shows 0.83h.

I assume this is because they are not Work Resources, but can anyone shed any light on the logic to how Excel is converting from Units to Hours?

I hope this makes sense!

It seems to me that this particular task has both material and immaterial (<grin>) work resources assigned.

I tested several new tasks and the only way I could get units to come across the way I understand your description, was to assign Work and Material resources to the same task. View | Task Usage may help.
