Hi all;
we have a problem with the audio level on the analoque trunks.My customer external analoque lines with audio level is very poor.System is Md110 bc12 sp5.
Does any one knows workaround solution for this case?
Thanks ....

First step is to change TRM value in ROute category
ROCAC:TRM=y, ROU=x;
X is your analog route and Y value from 4 to 7.

You can check the attenuation with LSCOP.

Make a call where the trunk and extension are
connected and enter LSCOP:LIM/EQU=xxx; and
you can see what you have today.

Note! do not confuse the ATTN value in the printout
with the TRM value.
The TRM is usad as index in a matrix where the ATTN is
read from.

Hi SIr
rfpui is right but to add more:

Second step is to change TRM value in EXtension category
EXCAC:TRM=y, dir=xxxx;
X is your analog Extension and Y value from 0 to 3.
and the defult is trm=0 try to increase it to 3, it will increase the level fpr internal and external calls.

I hope that will help.

Here is a try to explain how the TRM parameter is used.

Below is a printout of the transmission matrix with SACOP
(variable CTRANSPARMAT in SCP) from BC11-SP10.
And a printout of the attenuation values used in LS
(command LSATP).

If the matrix from the printout below is reformatted it
looks like this:
[tt]
0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
0 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02
1 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02
2 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02
3 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02
4 02 02 02 01 03 03 04 03
5 02 02 02 02 03 02 03 03
6 02 02 02 02 04 03 04 03
7 02 02 02 02 03 02 03 02
[/tt]

The rows is the TRM value for the sending party
and the column for the receiving party and the values in
the matrix is the attenuation used when the connection in
the LIM switch is setup.

Example:
A extension with TRM=3 and a trunk with TRM=4 are connected
then the switch path from the extension to the trunk has
ATTN=2 (0 dB), and from the trunk to the extension ATTN=1
(-3 dB (this means that the connection is amplified)).

Notes:
1. the values in the matrix is market dependent.
2. with sacos I have changed the values at (4,3) to 1, it was 2 before.
