I have a customer who has used a system with 6 analogue lines appearing on everyones phone. They now have digital lines and they want a setup where everyone can at least 6 incoming line appearances, but when the call is on hold everyone should be able to see the call is on hold.

With digital lines, if everyone has say 6 appearances to line 241 everyone sees the call coming in, but when the call is on hold only the person who answered the phone can see the call.

You can use SWCA. Read about it in the documentation. We have a couple customers who have digital lines and wanted the phones to be "square". This works if setup correctly.

I think that only works like that when no one can see the held calls is with a PRI a standard T1 you can still see the held lines if i'm not mistaking but i'm pretty sure. When you have a PRI that's when you have to start using more system features park,camp-on and like DigitelD said you can use SWCA.

Thanks,
I have used SWCA before but with SWCA you can only see which calls are on hold.
You cant see which calls are coming in, only which ones are on Hold? Is there a way where everyone can see the call come in and then put on hold?
