Looking for suggestions.
Company installed a Polycom Soundstructure w/ an analogue card.
I can't get them to go VOIP (I tried!!), so I have to connect to an analogue line.

Got it connected today and on my side... The connection sound excellent!!!
On the far end, they mentioned a hollow, muffled type connection. It was audible, but just not crystal clear.

Looking for an adapter that can help clear up the connection (if there is such a beast).
Don't want to fix the far end and hurt my side!!!

Researched and see that there are several Analogue Adapter available, but what does these items do?
Anyone ever had this problem and how did you fix?

As always.. THANKS FOR THE HELP

Have you done the obvious and called Polycom support?

Have you played with the settings in Studio software depending on where/how you installed the mics versus the rooms environment (ceiling/walls/floor) etc?

Check out some of thes videos

Not to state the obvious, but have you plugged a butt set into the pots line and tested?

If the problem still exists, it's with the POTS line.

If the problem doesn't exist with a Butt set then it's the Polycom.

Just my $.02
