Hello,
We recently got a problem in our MD110 BC11. No analogue phone can not dial any other extension (both internally and externally) There is a dial-tone when the handset is taken off-hook and the extensions can receive incoming calls.

Exampel analogue extension:
<EXDDP:DIR=981;EXTENSION DIRECTORY DATA
DIR CUST EQU CAT TYPE ICAT AUX
981 001-0-30-10 7 EL6 0018

END

<EXCAP:DIR=981;EXTENSION CATEGORY FIELDS
DIR TRAF SERV CDIV ROC TRM ADC
981 03151515 000312000 011151223 000001 0 000000000

Any ideas?

regards Tobias

seems something wrong with your tone receivers,

restart all TMU /TRU boards in your system

Hi and thanks for reply,
I tried restarting the TMU board. I also tried removing physically and reactivate it but it is the same problem. Have restarted the ELU board also. Is there a program unit that might need a restart?

you can try TRP (and maybe TSP)

Hi,
Which type of ELU card are these on ?
The newer ones have all sorts of problems, including noisy transmission. How do yours sound ?

There is most definitely a problem with the latest firmware on the ELU34's......at least in the US. The ones I just received were firmware R7b.....we had to take 'em back to R7a. There is no service bulletin on this problem.

These boards were put in service for expansion - when off-hook, there was dial tone, but it sounded extremely "overdriven" and you could not break dial tone. When called, these extensions would ring, but the speech path was choppy and very clipped.

If this is the same problem you're experiencing, you'll need to get a copy of the previous firmware release and reload the boards.

Good luck,

Dave Strang

Hi,

He has BC 11.. ELU 34 can't be there...

Cheers

Hi,
I pulled out the ELU board temporarily from the magasin backplane and it solved the problem.

Hi Singhbrindisi!

If you have TMU:
RFPUI:LIM=x,UNIT=ADP;
RFBOI:BPOS=X-XX-XX; (TMU poz.)
BLDBE:BPOS=X-XX-XX,ALLFM=YES;

if you have (TSU and) TRU3:
RFPUI:LIM=x,UNIT=TRP;
RFBOI:BPOS=X-XX-XX; (TRU poz.)
BLDBE:BPOS=X-XX-XX,ALLFM=YES;

Peter
