Hi All,

I have a problem! with a Mitel CXi controller - there are 3 x B.T Analogue lines connected to the system which routes calls to multiline keys (which works fine)

The problem is when the calls are routed to Voicemail, it appears that when the caller hangs up the lines are not released.

So when you do a status on the trunks it shows they are all busy.......

This has only happened since we upgraded to version 4.0, the next step is to upgrade to version 5.0

Any help would be great.

Andy

the embedded VM? How is the circuit descriptor programmed.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

It will be the diconnect clear time in the anlog circuit descripter form, needs setting from it default 500 msec or get BT to change the time at their end to match yours. IIRC the DCT for ordinary lines is around 100 msec and for feature lines its around 800 msec. try setting your diconnect time down to 100 msec or up to 800 msec.

Thanks Wireman50, LoopyLou

I'll try changing the timer this evening to see if this makes any difference - thanks again guys

Andy

Might also be you have calling party disconnect set to No. You could try that if all else fails.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
