analog voice / fax over frame

I currently have a dedicated private line running to one of my sites, I will be replacing that with a frame drop. I am currently using a Micom multiplexer to mux the analog voice and data on the ckt. I want to do the same thing over the frame, so I can push and pull dial tone from the switch and pbx. I would only mux the analog voice and fax traffic. Has any one done anything like that? I wonder if a static route from mux to mux would work.
