Analog to IP for Conference Phone at Remote Site

I have a BCM50 R6 and a remote site that is connected via a directional wireless antenna. At this remote site, we have 1140E's that work over the network. However, I have an analog conference phone I would like to put at this remote site. I've been looking at some analog to IP conversion devices and wondering if I could use one of these to connect to our BCM 50 over IP. Has anyone done this? I've been looking at Grandstream's HandyTone 701 and some other posts mention Patton, Algo's, and I think Cisco has something similar.

I think your problem is going to be finding a converter that supports Unistim which is what all your IP sets uses.

The BCM 50/450 system had some development work done for SIP phones, but it was never supported as IPO became Avaya's platform for small systems.

If you did have SIP phone capability, then one option would be to use a product such as A Cisco LinkSys 2 port VOIP adapter.

I have used this in the past to connect SIP trunks onto the BCM's analogue trunk ports.

It appear the algo 4900 USB ATA has been discontinued for a while and I can't find any used ones for sale! Does anyone have one or know where I could find one?

Hello if you manage to find and buy the algo 4900 USB ATA then just setup a 2050 softphone on the remote site on a computer connected to the same network and the algo 4900 USB ATA will call control your analog conference phone via the 2050 DN.
So practically your actual set will be the 2050 but due to the magic from Algo will do the remote call control.
the algo 4900 USB ATA was a nice device but expensive to compete in the market.

Analog to IP?

The BCM has an analog ATA and your conf unit is analog.
You need to looking for analog telephone line extenders.

The sites are connected by directional antennas. If I could convert it to IP/TCP, go over the antenna, and then convert back into analog then I could connect it into the analog port of the module on the BCM. This way, the conversion would be outside of the BCM. I don't know if that pair of devices exist: analog to IP & IP to analog.

Analog telephone line extenders go over a network....what is special about this network other than it's wireless?

There is ZipLine but that uses it's own antenna's if i recall.
