analog terminal adapter in 9150

I have a remote office 9150 with phones 3905.
I need install an analog terminal adapter to a phone 3905.
positio 15 in rlc card.

I have already formed the ata in the position 31 of the card rlc. cls =flxa, vce.
I have already formed the port 31 of 9150 like the rlc.
I have installed the ata to the phone but I have no tone to dial and if I am called this dn the phone connected to the ata he does not ring.
the light of ata is blinking in red. that is goog.

i tried a ata off of that box with no luck, moved it to my local switch, worked like a champ, had to have a pots line installed for paging and fax at the remote location..i haven't heard of a nortel patch for that one yet

The way i read it the ata is on port 64 of the 9150 but as above I programed it to port 15 of the rlc but I havent been able to get the thing to work either? Have battery on on the 25th pair of the first amp connecter but thats all.
Anybody figured out the trick to make it work?

eroberts9 is right.
If you wish to use the internal ATA of the 9150, then port 64 of the 9150 have to be mapped with port 31 (RLC).
If you wish to use an external ATA box then choose a port of the 9150 that is free, mapped it as port xx -> 31 (RLC port) then connect your ATA box to that xx port, not to the digital phone!!!
It works !!! Few of my customers have more than 1 analog phone on 9150.
To complete that info, take care that the Companding algorithm value in 9150 is set to the right Law : Mu-law or A-law depending where you are. If you leave it as Automatic, be sure faxes will not works...
