Analog station module is blinking (MOX8A). We have several fax machine on ports 601-608 that are making clicking sounds. Checked the SM under maintenance but show's unequipt. The ASm is hooked up via fiber to a 7 port module. Is it possible to loose the configuration of a ASM or does it sound like a harware issue? I can not determine what the module # is to make sure it is enabled,or diabled.
It is an older MICS using KSU/T1

If you are talking the power indicator that's flashing, that is not common. My guess is you have a hardware issue

I had a trunk module that had the power light flashing and had a clicking coming out. the power supply was bad. I cannot find any references to flashing indicators on the modules though.

Your in mod 7,Just go to module inventory and show port/dnstatus, And then check the state of a mod mod 7:state press o.k.Disadle -enable,That should leit you know what you have.. I had one asm with the light in the box loose i tape it on the front and it is stillthere and working with out a light.

The analog module was bad, the adjacent card was not in use, So we replaced modules, the thing that led us to believe the module was bad was that when you disconnect the fiber connection you can see a red light in the fiber connection, on a good card an nothing on a bad one.Thank you all for your help.
