Hi,
Does analog signal from generator degrades, when plugged in ditital line, and other end goes straight to pbx port? I'm using Avaya definity and some old merlin and legend systems.
Analog line as i know has 48 V. What voltage does digital line has?

Typically low, 5 volts or so, but may vary per system. It is normal for the signal to be wiped out almost, when plugged in to a digital port.
We always connect all pairs if possible, so we can split the signal on say the w/grn and o/white for example. You will find the signal gets through that way. This is also a good way to trace network jacks too if needed.
