How many analog ports can the BCM expand to?

only 2 analogue extn can taken from BCM 50 Basic system.
If u r going through expansion module GASM 4/8 will support u to increase the analogue extension capacity....

In case of BCM 200 and above it depends upon the MBM GASM which u r using....

The BCM 50 system can support up to four analogue phone via key code licenses, without having to add a ATA or GASM unit on the RJ-21 multi cable using ports 5 to 8.

you can put 8 port analog station cards in the bigger ones, how many will depend on DSP resources being used.

And it's also worth pointing out that a BCM50 would need to be release 2 hardware or greater for the analogue extensions to be present onboard.

A BCM 50 release 1 hardware that has been upgraded to release 2 or later also has the analogue ports & analogue trunks. You just can't activate the analogue sets on Rel 1, but the hardware is there.
