Hi,

I have 2 e1/t1 pri trunks on which i need to install 300 IP and 500 analog phones.

Can i have analog phones without analog trunks? if yes how do i connect analog phones, i assume analog phones connect to MM711 analog ports directly and Ip phones connected to POE switches.

Also i am looking for cabling diagram between PSTN-s8700-lan switch-g450- analog/ip phones.

I have s8800/G450 with cm 6.x

Thanks.

You are not installing the Phone on those PRI trunks. You are building them in you PBX. They will use the PRI when a user make an about bound call. The MM711 will support a max of 8 analog phones. I hope you system is larger then you are indicating here.

You would need 63 MM711 modules to support 500 analog phones.

If you used the MM716, they can have a max of 24 Analog phones, so you would need 21 of those.

Do you have a Business Partner helping you?

Thanks David !!

let me know if you have diagram showing all cable i.e lan/pstn connections.

We are using dl360G7 HP server on system platform with G450 gateways.

We do not have CLAN cards and it is standalone site.

Also wondering how CMS will talk to switch !

If you are going to have 800, you may need more then 2 T1's, but having no idea what kind of a business you have, it may be enough.

I would highly suggest, you talk with a Avaya business partner(someone that knows what there doing). And if your deploying IP phones, I would also suggest you should have a network asessment done on your LAN in order to accomadate the additional voice traffic with the IP phones.

I am not sure what you are asking for, there are no LAN/PSTN cables. A T-1 Cable is used to connect A Voice T-1(PRI)to the G450 MM710 card.

As mojoputter and I have already recommended. You really need to get a Avaya Business Partner involved.
