If a client has a sv9100 and only analog phones (dt400), do they need licenses for each phone (they have about 30)? For some reason I am thinking not because they are not IP phones but now I am second guessing myself so that's why I am now asking here.

DT400's are digital phones, and every phone needs a port license. I believe a basic system comes with 48 port licenses, however you should check under communication/feature activation tab at the top of PCPro to verify licenses.

Thanks. For some reason I was looking through the system data sections to find info in there.

Client X has 28 physical phones. They have 43 of the 0300 licences but for almost everything else (1012, 1014, 1404, 5103, 5111, 5201, 5305, 5309, 5312, 5313) they have 30 licences (except 5103 which has 36). Which number should they be concerned with when wanting to add additional phones? If I understand this right, they will be good to add more phones in (up to 43) but to enable all of the other features (1012, etc) they need to purchase more of those specific licences?

This is correct.

Ok thanks for the quick reply. It's all coming together now...I think. lol
