Hi,
having a customer that have currently RED analog phone (for emergency) and he want to know if we can use an "analog to sip" converter for connect those analaog phone thru sip into his IP Office?

or.. searching for RED sip phone compatible with IPO, so we can replace their analog phone with new RED sip phone?

Let me know your thoughts!

thanks!

Thanks for the info.. will check that!

The point of the red emergency call phone used to be that it indicated the phone that would still work during a power failure. IP phones, even with resilience, are just paperweights when they and/or the IP Office don't have power.

An IP500 system can still connect some analog extensions to analog trunks even when it has no power. If your all IP then you need to be investing in a lot more (uninterruptable power supplies).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
