Analog out only

We want our Analog fax machines to dial straight outside the compnay. with out a 9, etc...

Currently we have a shorcodes helping with the 9 and then will oversees calls (011) but if they try to fax to a number within our DID range the fax ends up on the extensions phone. Does that make sense to anyone?

What we really want is the system to treat the ananolg port not as an extension but as an old fashioned POTS line. No 9 and no extension dialing.

Can anyone help? We are just finishing implementation and are finally getting control of the machine and we have some unanswered questions.

If you put the following short code onto the fax user it should not need to dial 9

Please note this may not work in the US because of the way you dial but gfive it a go
