Hi !

I am a new user of Norstar 8X24.
I got the manual but I did not find where could I connect a FAX or a modem phone line (Analog). Do I need to buy the ATA module for each analog line or I can use some phone line pair from the 25 pair amphenol cable?

BTW do someone know where I can find 2 "25 pair amphenol cable with 2 connector" and patchpanel? It can be used too.

Thanks for all the help!
Sergio

Yes, you need an Analog Terminal Adaptor for each analog device you want to connect to the digital phone system.

Cables should be able to be found at any GrayBar location or your local telecom supplier.

if you are going to go the pre-built cable and patch panel route make sure that you get a patch panel that will give you an rj-11 jack for each of the 25 pairs. If you will not use the external PA output of the system then you can get away with 24 port rj-11 patch panels, otherwise you will end up with either stations or trunks that you cannot access since they would not appear on the patch panel.
