Analog line 3

I need to connect a modem to a analog line.
Is it possible to setup the line so the modem will not have to dail a 9 to get an outside line?

you need to set up a pre-trans list in ld18

you can see that PRE 0 has now entries which means it does nothing whereas PRE 4

as we can see here 0 = 90 ...... 9 = 99. What this means is if an extn is assigne this PRE list, when they dial any number a 9 will be inserted in front of the dialled digits. This is what you want for your modem. To assign an extn to a different pre lst from default change the xlst prompt to the desired PRE lst. PRE lists 0 & 1 are reserved for the ATTN Consoles & DDI routes so don't change these

Very nice good job the only thing I want to add to this is that you will need package 92 and also in Ld 15 you have to enable PREO from 0 to 1.

It accepted the FTR Hot d 4 9
However when test the line with an analog phone, After I enter the Extension i receive a little pause then a Quick busy signal.

When I try with a modem I receive a prompt &quot;Busy&quot; from modem.
I ried this with a line which fax line connected.

No.I was not promopted for the EHTA.
However it was not listed in the cls.
I tried to Add EHTA and received the following message

I tried to rebuild from scratch, I added EHTA to the cls and entered FTR HOT D 4 9.
Result: when I try to test line with analog phone, I receive dial tone, I Enter the number I am trying to call, I hear dail tone for a second then hear a Fast Busy Signal.

I'm sorry, it works here, I am going out on a digital route, maybe you are not and it dials the 9 to fast, try to input the whole number as HOT D 10 95143708787 and see if you get a different result, try with an internal number to see what result you get.
