Analog line issue

I have 4 per. nodes that attaches to 3300Mxe Rel 8. Recently, the tenants complained:

1. the phone rings twice but no one is on the line
2. the phone rings back after they hang up the phone

Does anyone experience the same issue? I have ONS cards. Thanks.

Everyone having this issue? Everyone's phone ring at the same time? Any phones with display that will show what device is calling?

I have seen this with the embedded VM calling extensions. Do you have embedded VM? Do these extensions have mailboxes on the embedded VM?

If it is the VM calling, then the problem will be in the individual mailboxes. In the Message Notification section, you will see a field "Schedule". If the value there is "around the clock", then change to "disabled".
