Hi all,

Requested an Analog Line Card just to have in case one of them blows up. Asked for NT8D09CA and recieved NT7K20ABE6 RLSE 01
from Avaya. Card is also marked GALC and has a serial Maint port on the front.

Is this thing going to work for our Type 500 sets?

Thanks,

>****

GALC = Global Analog Line Card, so yes, it will work. but you need to set the dipswitches for your region according to the Circuit Card Reference manual.
Not sure what you paid for it but I'd guess you could probably get several refurb NT8D09's for the same.

Should have bought refurbished as their price is fairly cheap. Or buy some used cards and save even more$$

It's a phone system, NOT a clock!

You need to load the loadware for your Shelf controller if you are encountering problems with the GALC (New anlg. card)
