Having Brain Freeze. Can I have multiple analog phones on one extension in an interior hotline situation. Need to replace phones at cash registers in a grocery store. Never an incoming call. Page access only through a hotline.
Second question: Will partner phones work over cat3 cable to 18ga cable, 125' or so...

tks in advance

Yes, you can loop multiple analog station together. Program as hotline, go off hook and access to paging. Don't overload the REN, but you state no incoming calls, so good.

Using 24 gauge wire, Category doesn't matter (3 or 5 or 6, it's all the same for analog and digital phones):
Range: 1,000 feet (305 meters) for system phones; 3,000 feet (915 meters) for standard devices

Tks, will try tomorrow am, let you know...

Got it to work... Daisey chained 9 analog station to one analog port for paging only and all of them worked perfectly.... Tks for the help....
