Analog Extension Hot Line 1

Hi all,
We are using Avaya Aura CM 8.1. I am trying to configure a hot line using the abbreviated dialing "PERSONAL" option but the personal option is not showing in the command, in old release i can see the personal option in abbreviated dialing but in this CM release 81. personal option is not available.
Can somebody help how to build a hotline using analog phone on CM 8.1??? (call must go to a preprogrammed number after lifting the handset)

Personal shows up for me in my 8.1 system for a 2500 set. Not sure why that wouldn't show up for you but you could use a different list type since personal isn't there; Group might work out well to separate this function from everything else.

I wanted to use for a single extension. Group and system option will not work correctly. What am i missing in the configuration to get "personal" option?

I forgot to mention that when i am adding abbreviated dialing i am getting error personal is invalid entry, pressing F5 shows only four option and Personal is not present. How can i add Personal abbreviated dialing??

I don't know why Personal doesn't show up, maybe there's a feature to turn it on. I don't know why group or system wouldn't work for you though, they work the same way except that it's available to other users. Just an option if you can't get Personal to show up.

The command is change, not add, if that's what you're trying to do.

Yes change command worked. Personal was not an option with ADD command.
