hi i m using hipath 3550 some tim its ana ext get blocked no dialtone heard only voltage.whn calle to ths ext it rings whn pick up no voice heard bt at caller side ring back tone heard.fr ths hard restart req.in maintenance ext show active and in service.

Yes, try a reset of the port as it may fix it.
Also check the phone and cable connections.

is it req reset every time thr z nt any perm resolution.

Plug a new phone directly into the card.
See if the new phone needs to be reset all the time.

Check the cable again
Check the phone again

Make a new cable

Move the phone to a new analogue port ?
