Today when someone calls an analog line from external and the external person disconnects, the analog line just dies/disconnects. Is there a way that the internal analog line can provide a feedback tone or something to indicate that the external person has disconnected?

We're using some analog lines for our internal engineers and they have it hooked up to a media gateway. But when someone externally hangs up, there is no way for the media gateway to know that the line has been disconnected.

Thanks,

Ken

This is with an external PRI and internal analog lines. The internal analog lines just drop when disconnected from an inbound.
