I have 3 non system phones one of which an answering machive. None of them are ringing. Assuming the setup is correct (no delayed/no ring) could the wiring affect if the devices ring?

Partner Plus II

If you think it is the wiring, plug the analog phone directly into the partner system. Also, double check that you have the lines setup for immediate ring on those extentions. Make sure you are programming the correct exts. Pickup the analog phones, intercom a display screen phone to check what exts you are using. To program line ringing, go to ext 10 or 11, dial feature zero zero, left intercom twice, right intercom once, dial ext number, touch the lines till they are lit up steady. If you need additional help, let us know.

Hi ibz153,
You may have to turn "Distinctive Ring" off for those extensions to recognose a ring signal. It is possible that the polarity may make some devices unhappy. This is not too common.
