I realize that the 450 only supports 2 GASM(ASM 8+) in the main cabinet and 4 in the Exp Cabinet for a total of 48 analog station ports, but is there any restictions on having 12 (6 modules with 6 more piggybacked) Norstar ASM's connected to a FEM Module?

Never really done anything with a FEM for BCM. However according to some training notes for bcm450r1, FEM is supported provided it's installed in the main unit only, and total of one only.

I was actually able to use the old Noretl Clarify system and get an answer. The BCM 450 supports only two GASM-8 in the main cabinet and 4 in the expansion cabinet. That is a total of 48 analog station ports. If you add a FEM card you can add 6 Norstar analog staion modules and get up to 96 Analog stations. You cannot piggy back analog modules like you can with the Norstar.
