Analo Station Disconnect Issue

I have a customer R11.1.0.2.0.14, 2 systems, SCN, PRI at main for outgoing. This is a small college campus, and the systems are used only to support analog devises, as they have moved to a cloud offering. Most of the analog devises are ringdown/push button emergency type sets that dial 911 when a button is pressed, so no hook switch. This is a trace from a test call that was made, that shows a Disconnect, but the phone remained off hook for almost 15 minutes, until it changed to on hook and the call terminated. The call below was made from the remote system, so it dialed across the SCN and out the PRI in the main.

I have tried changing to an IVR port. I know I could set a maximum call length, but would like to avoid that, as these are emergency phones. BTW even though the phone dials 911, we reroute the call in ARS to campus security.

Thank you,

Oh boy... that is not legal based on Kari's law. 911 needs to dial 911 not be routed somewhere else. Imagine the lawsuit if someone is dialing 911, gets campus security, and dies because it was not routed correctly...

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Your problem is in the call box. Without a model number there isn't much help with that.

The phones are Ramtel R733

Confirm the problem is with your Ramtell, plug a standard analog phone into the same port, make a call then hang up as you normally would. If the call is disconnected by the IPO immediately upon hanging up the phone's receiver then you know that the problem is with the Ramtell not disconnecting properly.
