An up and coming ERP specialist

If you had a job choice between becoming a Great Plains consultant OR an SAP Basis specialist what would you recommend? I'm just curious as to which would have more career stability / opportunities and pay off the best.

I'm coming into this dilema right now, and will have to make a decision in the next coming month. Any advice from the industry pros would be appreciated!

GP Consultant.... more work for you.

SAP has a very limited install base.

Actually, I came from the GP Consulting world.... I'm back in industry now... pay is better and the hours are better.
