I'm trying to map (using a Windows XP SP2) a SuSE10 Samba 3.0.24 share.
When my colleague (who is on the same network tries to map it using the IP address and share (\\192.168.1.60\home) he is able to connect. Whenever I try I get "An unexpected network error occurred."
In the smb.conf it is configured extremely basic:
[home]
comment = All users
path = /home
public = yes
This used to work before but since I've reinstalled Windows I can no longer get it to work.
Any ideas - I guess this must be a client (Windows) issue?
Basic networking is fine (ping works) - there is no firewall (software or hardware).
