This is the exact message I get in Event Viewer which is causing our website, that is hosted on the server, to not be able to view at all.

An object call caused an exception. (IID:{51372AEF-CAE7-11CF-BE81-00AA00A2FA25}) (Method: 3) (Microsoft Transaction Server Internals Information: File: i:\viper\src\runtime\mtxex\activity.cpp, Line: 889) (Exception:C0000005) (Address: Ox712b4cc2)
jscript + Ox4CC2

Any help at all would be great. I have already looked this up on Microsoft's Knowledge Base which gave no indication on how to fix the problem.

I have also noticed that when this error message is generated that it stops the FTP and World Wide Web Publishing Service. I have also run an updated Norton scan, Sircam, and Nimda fix and haven't found any indication of a virus.

bgauntt,

I am getting almost the exact same error message......have you been able to figure out what the problem may be?

I haven't yet. Have you scanned for viruses including the Code Red Worm.

I have been getting this for the past 2 days.......I scanned the server for code red virus......I am using mcaffee virus shield.

When I had this server in development I had no virus protection installed......I just installed mcaffee within the past few days.....?

I removed all .asp pages from the site and everything works fine. Does anyone know what is causing this problem when I plug in the .asp pages. As soon as I put the .asp pages back into the site and someone tries to view them, both FTP and services are stopped and I get the same error message that I originally posted.
