Hi guys (and glas), interesting question: how is that this website uses .exe as a file extension to display webpages??

If you go to this link, and click any link in that site, the URL shows that the requested page is a .exe file. How so??

Thanks.

Hi mate,

The exe file is built to run from the web, so will have no problem doing so.

This isn't the same type of exe that you would get for a normal application, it needs to be specifically built for web use.

Hope this helps

Wullie, hmmmmm interesting. I didn't know that. What kind of application would be used to do that?? VB??

Why would someone want to do it that way?? Wouldn't the implication of a .exe extension scare away some web surfers??
