I get this error when I try to print or print preview from a runtime 2000 install.
an exception unhandled win32 exception has occurred in msaccess.exe
I have tried all sorts of different reports from fancy to basically nothing in them with the same results.

Any ideas?

On my machine it gives the error above and crashes...WindowsXP. On another Windows 2000 Server development computer it says DDE Server Window: MSAccess.exe application error.
The instruction at "0x245c8b53 referenced memory at "0x245c8b53". The memory could not be "read".

I created a report that was bound to nothing and had one label in it and it behaved the same way, so I don't think the data or graphics in the reports are causing the errors.

These used to work and I can't figure out what I have done to kill them all.

It was a bad Runtime install. I reinstalled it on both computers and how everyrthing works!!

I am still having sporadic problems with this and the runtime version of Access 2000. It is definitely a runtime issue because I still get crashes when a report of any kind is opened, even in a totally different database. Also, is there a obtain the newest version of the Access Runtime with all of the patches already in it. I can't seem to find that on MS web site...only the patches, but I don't want to distribute the broken version and then have to install the patches.
