I was checking through my event viewer and I noticed this:

An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\DR0 during a paging operation.

It logged the error four times and they were no longer than a minute apart.

Windows 2000 Advanced Server
2.0 GHz Celeron Processor
640 MB DDR Memory
20 GB Seagate Hard drive
Bio-star P4SXQ Motherboard

If you have any information about this error please pass it on.

Thanks in advance,
Sterling

I used to get alot of those. I had upgraded a system board on an old system that was built from scratch. I was getting errors left and right concerning the hard drive. They were fairly intermittent, too. What it ended up being was the cables from the sys board to the drive. They were old cables not really capable of the transfer speed I was now pushing between the two (hard drive was also upgraded in the past to a better/faster drive). I'm not saying this is your problem but if you've done any upgrades, don't forget minor things like cables.

I had the same error replace hard drive SCSI 0 and so far so good
