Hi Guys,

I have customer who uses a third party application which had been configured for a Nortel BCM 50. The application pops up the number and the details of the calling person. Would anyone be able to guide me where I could start to make this application work on the IPO Tapi etc?
I know the app uses the BCM CTE and it asks for the DN Number to connect to BCM 50 but could this be tweaked to work on the IPO?

Cheers

your application is installed on a server that has a CTE client installed and communicates with IPO or it is per user pc installation?

You will meet ipo cti pro version of tapi which requires a licence
It's 3rd party tapi software

Use it quite a lot in taxi company's with Autocabs to see the incoming caller number and details of that person

Hi guys,

The application is per user. My customer has the cti pro licence already but as it is per user and no server i think that isnt the problem. The software was written for the bcm 50 but uses the bcm cti tool in which the user enters dn number under the settings.

Well use tapi2 and install it for each user
Login with the username and user password

Reboot PC

Tapi will continue to install
