I have a MS-6309B (V2.0) Mobo with an AMR slot.
went out and purchased a AMR Modem (MS-5966) V.90, set it to Primary (see got a full fledged soundchip on board), enabled it in BIOS, loaded in the latest SmartLink drivers (on W98)... and can't get it to function...
I get only the error message 'Hardware doesn't support Modem' and 'can't load HAL driver'...
what can I do to get it to function correctly on my system?
or can it even be done...
I already contacted the MSI Support department (between 4 to 14 days reply!) it's now over a month and still no hellos from them (gave up on them, and I will be damned if I ever gonna buy a MSI product)...
