Hello,I have a 412 TDL card on a Magix 4.0 system. The other end of the amphenol cable is connected to the back of a 48 port patch panel. The patch panel has 4 amphenol connectors on the back corresponding to 12 RJ-11 Ports each on the front of the patch panel. When I plug a set into port 1, that extension is set to 10, however, when I plug a set into port 2, that set's extension number is set to 12. Where is extension 11? Also, only the first 6 ports on the patch panel work. What's up?

Thanks,

Brandon

The wiring in the patch panel is 2 pair per port. The wiring of the amphenol is the first 12 pair. therefore the patch panel is skipping every other port on the amphenol.

it looks like this
amphenol cable TDL Port Patch Panel port
blue white pair tdl port 1 1
orange white pair tdl port 2 1
green white pair tdl port 3 2
brown white pair tdl port 4 2
slate white pair tdl port 5 3
blue red pair tdl port 6 3
orange red pair tdl port 7 4
green red pair tdl port 8 4
brown red pair tdl port 9 5
slate red pair tdl port 10 5
blue black pair tdl port 11 6
orange black pair tdl port 12 6

You will have to split the ports on the patch panel or get a different patch panel. or you could just terminate the amplenol on a 66 or 110 block
