ampersand XML issue

Text truncation:

Our application communicates via an XML servlet, which receives XML packets. When ampersands are sent in the packets <&amp;>, the remainder of the text is truncated.

Does anyone know if this is a parser error?

It's because the &quot;&&quot; symbol is reserved. You need to represent the symbol w/the entity name/number.

Sorry again. It should be the combination:

& amp ;

- without spaces between
