Ammo search for number

Good morning all,

Question 1: In Ammo, how can I search for all fax numbers , analog , that point to an 844 number?


Question 2: In Ammo, how can I search for a username and do I use an * to list all names that have the same characters?

Question 3: How can I reset a port or PEN via Ammo so that I can reset one while on the floor troubleshooting a phone?

Don't know what you mean.

dis-persi:name; will list any extn that has a name configured against it.

Question 3: How can I reset a port or PEN via Ammo so that I can reset one while on the floor troubleshooting a phone?
res-dssuen,1-1-1-1; will reset (off/on) 1-1-1-1;

dea-dssu:di,pen,1-1-1-1; will turn it off
act-dssu:aul,pen,1-1-1-1; will turn it on.

Question 1 explanation: I am trying to find in the Hi-Path all fax devices that are pointing to one particular number that starts with 844.xxx.xxxx.
I need to get a listing of all faxes pointing to the 844 number.

Take the regen file and make a search after 844 ....

AMO - Administration and Maintenance Order

Numbers can be pointed to other numbers using the AMO - RUFUM

REG-RUFUM;
DIS-RUFUM;

Numbers can also be forwarded from Extensions
REG-ZIEL:FWD;
REG-ACTDA:STN;

FAX and MODEM due to not wanting call waiting tones should be correctly setup as follows
ADD-WABE:1234,,,STN,N;
DEL-WABE:CD,1234,,6&10&11&12,STN;
ADD-WABE:1234,,6&10&11&12,FAXNO;

To search for a User name - a telephone extension name...

REG-PERSI:STN;

In the ComWin as in the screen shot attached you can then type in the name that you are looking for and go up with the up arrow to find each instance of that name.

To Reset an extension

Display the status of that extension first
DIS-SDSU:ALL,,STNO,PER3,XXXX;
(It will come back and ask you for the value for XXXX)

To reset an extension:
RES-DSSU:STNO,XXXX;

To Immediately Deactivate an extension:
DEA-DSSU:L,STNO,XXXX;

To Deactivate an Extension with Camp On
DEA-DSSUC,STNO,XXXX;

A PEN is the same but substitute PEN For STNO
Examples

DIS-SDSU:ALL,,PEN,PER3,1,2,3,4;
RESTART-DSSUEN,1-2-3-4;

Deactivate PEN
DEA-DSSUI,PEN,1-2-3-4;

Deactivate with Camp ON
DEA-DSSUC,PEN,1-2-3-4;

(If circuits are busy it will wait until they are free to turn them off)

To get assistance with ComWin AMO's

Log On

Click (up top) MACRO / Retrieve System Variant

Then EDIT / MML EDITOR

This MML editor will assist you with commands
It can be started by pressing ALT & TAB

You can 'click in' any AMO then Right Mouse Click and go to MML Editor

The MML Editor will then keep that AMO in the Editor for you

I keep typing Ammo when I know it is Amo.

Usually when I request for assistance it is to do something in AMO.
One of my co-workers does everything in Assistant which is easier for him.

With my programming background, over the years I have gotten accustomed to Command Line programming and troubleshooting.

Once again thank you all for all of your help.

I will continue to search on how to search for analog lines that are being routed to 844 numbers.

If there are Analogue Lines - TACSU then the DGTPR will show the destination that they will ring at.
If they are Analogue Extensions then the Forwardings (ACTDA and ZIEL) will show the destinations that they will ring at
If they are just numbers then RUFUM will show those destinations.

Keep in mind, the forwarding could also be done via an internal routing number.

We use the DNIT table quite a bit to route incoming lines. My example:

A local DID number rings into the PRI trunk with DNIT digits 0297. We point that to INTRTDN 7000.

That INTRTDN 7000 points to extension 8030. But I could also change that target to 9xxxxxxxxxx and forward that call off-premise.
