Amending the report subject for a recurring report 1

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is there any way of including formulas in the report subject on a recurring report which is emailed to the recipient using Enterprise. I would like the email being sent to show the date range that the report is reporting on.

Perhaps you mean that you're using Crystal Enterprise?

Do you know what version of Crystal?

How are you sending the email?

Is the process automated?

You can send emails via external code, and there are 3rd party solutions.

Including technical and environment information is critical.

Hi,

Yes, I'm using Crystal Enterprise and Crystal reports 9 (although we will be upgrading to Crystal Reports 10).

Before I schedule the report I completed the Subject details as found in the destination tab in Crystal Enterprise. The report is scheduled to run on a weekly basis.

Which 3rd Party solutions are available?

At least one of these tools allows you to include dynamic content in the email subject line (as well as in the e-mail message itself) based on information in the report at the time of scheduled processing.
