I can't tell you the specific processors, but I did a benchmark to compare a Dell laptop with the AMD processor to a dual core Intel processor a couple of weeks ago and the indication was the Intel of approximately the same speed was running about 3-1/2 times faster than the AMD. The AMD machine is consistently slower than all of the Intel machines around it. I understand a lot of this is due to front bus speed (not sure what all that is, but it sounds good), but from now on I will still with Intel.
