AMD 64 3000+ Temps?

What should the average temp be for this? And when should I be worried? With the side panel off, and 1 case fan missing, the BIOS is reading it at 42-48 C or 110 F. Is this high, or will the extra case fan on the side cover help to cool much?

That isn't all that bad.. Don't really think there is an "average" temp for AMD's, but the shutdown temp is 90C

I don't think it's very helpful to quote maximum core temps as these are effectively the point at which the CPU fails and in reality the processor won't actually run properly anywhere near these high temps.
If the new Athlon 64 is anything like the older XP you should be aiming at temperatures under 65C if you want stability and reliability.
So I would say your temps look fine!

Yep, those temps are fine.
Anything over 60-65 deg C will probably cause instability and decrease the CPU's life.
