I'm going to show you all how much I don't know! I am so glad I found this forum!
Is there a way to copy and paste an image, from Photoshop, into another program without having white edges around the image? I have a dark background in Power Point. I would like to feather the edges of a light colored image and paste it onto my dark background. I can't do it in Photoshop because my dark background is animated and I think I'd lose the animation by doing it there. Is that correct? I need to have this slide show done by this weekend and I'm beginning to panic. Help, please!

Yes, you set up the graphic with a transparent background, and save it as a gif file. The gif can then be inserted onto a slide, and the background will show through. You cannot do it via the clipboard.

Thank you so much! I'm one of those people who play around in several programs and can get good results on my projects....yet have no real background or knowledge in any of them. So, of course, it takes me forever to get things done! I wish I had found this forum years ago! Thanks, again!
