I have a client that has lots of old btrieve 6.15 components on his server, wbtrv32, etc - with dates back to 1994. On workstations, I never see the P/SQL workstation programs on the machine, but when I go into the applications that use btrive/P.SQL I do get the P.SQL 2000 splash screen for half a second. Everything seems to work, although slowly, I am just confused by the old btrieve components.

Ideas and opinions welcomed. Software Support for Sage Mas90, Macola, Crystal Reports, Goldmine and MS Office

You are using api calls from within the application. The wbtrv32.dll will bring up the splash screen when the first call is made. By default the files needed for btrieve calls should be in c:\pvsw.
