I ran across this link.
In it they explain four different usage modes for Access.
1) Microsoft Access and Jet Single User
2) Microsoft Access and Jet Multi-User
3) Microsoft Access, Jet, and SQL Server
4) Microsoft Access and SQL Server without Jet
It's 3 and 4 that have me confused. I didn't even know 3 existed since I always assumed as soon as there was a SQL Server back end Jet was essentially disabled, so I'm wondering if someone can clarify. Basically the Access 2007 db has been split with a SQL Server back end, but am I still using Jet? How can I tell? I still use local tables for specific purposes as well, in case that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance.
