Hi guys,

I have a question spinning in my mind,Is there any international Exchange to coordinate between national exchanges,
4 example...I am in England and I wanna call a friend in US,will da English Exchange go directly to US or it will go to a coordinating exchange which will transfer me then to US?

I hope that my Q is clear.

Hard to say if you are right or not as you do not indicate which method you believe is the correct one.

Telephone exchanges are tiered.

Tier 1 exchanges talk to other tier 1 exchanges and tier 2 exchanges. Tier 1 would be used for international calling.

Tier2 Would talk to Tier 1, Tier 2 (Sometimes) and Tier 3 exchanges.

There are exceptions to these based on distance and traffic flow. If the traffic requirements between a Tier 2 and a foriegn Tier 1 are great enough and the cost low enough, a direct link will be made taking the local tier 1 out of the loop.

So both yes and no.
